On April 22, 2025, the Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv was visited by students of school No. 250 (Obolon). A short introductory presentation was prepared for the guests about modern directions of nuclear science, its importance for energy and medicine, as well as examples of the application of research developments.

This was followed by a practically oriented tour of the department’s working areas: the visitors were shown laboratory stands, devices for detecting and measuring radiation and explained their practical use in experiments. Special attention was paid to the opportunities for learning and professional development for schoolchildren – internships, participation in student projects and international exchange programs.

The event was distinguished by lively communication: students actively asked questions, were interested in real examples of research work and ways to enter the university. The visit left a positive impression and encouraged young people to further study physics and engineering disciplines.
