Students and staff of the Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energy Physics of the Faculty of Physics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv took part in the scientific and technical conference of the 9th Summer Nuclear School “Youth and the Future of Nuclear Energy” (SNS 2025), held at the branch of JSC “NAEK Energoatom” “Rivne NPP” (Varash and Rudka, Ukraine) with the support of JSC “NAEK Energoatom” from July 1 to 11, 2025.

The participants of the Summer Nuclear School included students and lecturers from 10 higher education institutions: Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Odesa Polytechnic, Lviv Polytechnic, Vinnytsia National Technical University (VNTU), Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Over ten days, participants enjoyed a rich program: tours of RNPP facilities, meetings with enterprise specialists, sports and wellness activities, and cultural events.

As part of the Summer Nuclear School, a competition program was also held. Thirty-four students presented their reports on trends in the development of the nuclear industry.

Based on the evaluations, the winners were determined.
