Excursion for Physics Teachers
in Colleges
On April 24, 2025, a delegation of three physics teachers from colleges visited the Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energies of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The event was professionally oriented: a review of the educational and methodological base of the department, a demonstration of laboratory equipment, and a discussion of modern approaches to teaching nuclear physics and related disciplines were prepared for the guests.
During the meeting, the teachers got acquainted with the devices and experimental installations that can be used in the educational process, received practical advice on organizing laboratory work and implementing innovative teaching methods. The possibilities of cooperation were discussed separately: conducting joint practices, improving the qualifications of teachers, and participating in scientific and educational projects.
The dialogue took place in the format of an exchange of experience – the guests shared the needs of their colleges, and the department representatives offered specific ways of interaction. The excursion contributed to the establishment of professional contacts and opened up prospects for further cooperation in the field of education and scientific initiatives.
Special attention was paid to the international project NURECAB, aimed at developing educational programs in the field of nuclear energy and radiation safety. They talked about the goal and objectives of this project, its significance for the Ukrainian educational community, as well as the opportunities it opens up for students in the field of scientific research and international cooperation.
