Teachers and students of the department at KNU EXPO

On October 11, a university-wide open day was held, and among the many locations of the university, the Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energy presented its work, uniting teachers, students, and graduate students in a common cause — introducing future applicants to the fascinating world of nuclear physics.

During the day, teachers and students of the department had many meaningful conversations with visitors, answering questions from high school students about the features of study, scientific activities, and prospects for professional development in the field of nuclear energy and high energy physics.

The guests had the opportunity to see with their own eyes some of the experimental installations that students work with during their studies, in particular, an ultrasonic flaw detector — a device used for non-destructive testing of materials and equipment at nuclear power plants.

Our students shared their own learning experience, talked about participation in scientific conferences, internships, and opportunities for further development.

Thank you to everyone who visited the location of the Department of Nuclear Physics during KNU EXPO 2025!

See you at the spring open house — come and learn more about how physics is changing the world!
