At the Faculty of Physics, on April 18, an Open Day was held for prospective applicants and anyone interested in seeing what studying and research look like from the inside. It was a great opportunity to learn about the academic programs, meet the faculty members, and explore the opportunities offered by studying at the Faculty of Physics, particularly at our Department of Nuclear Physics and High Energy Physics.

Lecturers and students of the department shared their experiences of studying, internships, and career opportunities. Visitors also had the chance to see some of the experimental setups used by students during their studies.

Special attention was given to the international project NURECAB, aimed at developing educational programs in the field of nuclear energy and radiation safety. The lecturers presented the goals and objectives of the project, its importance for the Ukrainian academic community, and the opportunities it provides for students in terms of research and international cooperation.
